To eradicate this issue, you can download the latest version from here and get rid of the outdated version: If you have installed everything correctly and your custom content still doesn’t work, then you might have an outdated version of the Recource.Cfg in Your mods folder.Now, Open the Game and don’t forget to check the boxes for script mods and custom content in the Game Options.Then move the contents from your downloads folder to your mods folder: Documents > Electronic Arts>Sims 4>Mods> “Hoe It Up” (Create this new folder).Click on it and unzip the zip folder using 7-Zip or WinRar.fd.After downloading the sims 4 hoe it up module, from either the official site or Sacrificial’s patron, move the zipped file to mods folder: The file (zip folder) should get downloaded to your Downloads folder.To install hoe it up, go to this official site of sacrificial mods: or you can simply go through the Sacrificial’s Patron for faster and free download:.I'm just getting started though, so caveat emptor. This is the procedure I followed, and it seems to be working. Rename the file to "1-1-LT1.save" so it will show up as the first save on page 1 of your saves list instead of having to go to page 44. Put it in the game/saves folder of the extracted game version you're using: Click the LOAD option and then select the save file. Once the media files are in place, then load a save file. Similar operation is necessary to get the remaining media files when you're ready to play chapters 2&3. Extract those files and move them into the game/ folder of the extracted the game version you're using (the move operation should add the extracted files to the existing image and videos directories). Get the media file for chapter 1 from the OP links (near the bottom). If you just downloaded the Chapter 4 file, read on from here. If you downloaded the whole game (20+GB file) then you can skip the next paragraph and proceed below there.
